Bodkin Bakes’ Occasion Cakes are thoughtfully crafted to suit any celebration — from birthdays and anniversaries to baby showers and seasonal events. Whatever the occasion, you’ll find a cake that’s both beautiful and delicious.

My signature cakes feature a buttercream finish and are decorated in the elegant style shown in the images below.

Dietary Requirements:
Gluten-free and dairy-free variations are available upon request for selected flavours. Please note that these adjustments may incur an additional charge. Kindly include any dietary requirements in the comments section of your enquiry.

Apple, Caramel & Ginger
A moist apple and ginger sponge layered with rich caramel buttercream and a velvety caramel sauce, blending warm spice with sweet indulgence for a perfectly comforting finish.
Banoffee
Moist banana sponge filled with smooth mascarpone cream and ribbons of golden caramel sauce, covered in a caramel buttercream and topped with banana chips, chocolate shavings and a caramel swirl.
Biscoff
A rich brown sugar sponge filled with velvety Biscoff buttercream, finished with a coating of caramelised Biscoff crumb and topped with signature Lotus biscuits for the ultimate indulgence.
Black Forest Gateau
A truly luxurious seasonal showstopper! Rich buttermilk chocolate sponge layered with smooth mascarpone cream and a vibrant fresh cherry compote, all finished with a silky Chocolate Ganache buttercream. The ultimate festive indulgence for chocolate and cherry lovers alike.
Carrot & Cream Cheese
A moist, warmly spiced carrot sponge layered with a whipped fresh cream and vanilla bean cream cheese filling, delightfully tasty and free of raisins! Covered in classic ombré buttercream and topped with dried lemons and a touch of edible flower petals.
Coffee & Caramel
A brown sugar coffee sponge filled with smooth fresh mascarpone cream and swirls of golden caramel sauce, covered in a caramel and coffee buttercream for a rich, indulgent finish.
Chocolate Fudge

Chocolate Orange

Chocolate and Salted Caramel

Raspberry, Coconut & White chocolate

Red Velvet

Bespoke Occasion Cakes

Looking for something a little different? The Bespoke Bodkin Bakes option offers a truly creative and personalised cake experience, tailored to your unique celebration.

A minimum of 7 working days’ notice is required for all bespoke occasion cake orders.

Pricing:
Bespoke cakes start from £90.00 for a 6-inch tall design. A variety of sizes are available to suit your needs. As each cake is individually designed, prices will vary depending on the chosen flavour, size, shape, finish, and level of decoration.

Please note:

I do not offer fondant novelty or character cakes.
A deposit may be required to secure your order.

Storage

Your cake will remain fresh for up to five days if properly wrapped and stored in the fridge. For the best flavour and texture, I recommend bringing the cake to room temperature a couple of hours before serving.

Lead Times

All orders must be placed at least THREE working days in advance. I strongly encourage booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as availability can fill up quickly.

Allergy Info

All cakes are prepared in a nut-free environment, and I can confirm that no nuts are used in any of our recipes or on-site.

However, please be aware that my kitchen does handle eggs, milk, soya, gluten, and alcohol, and although strict procedures are followed to avoid cross-contamination, I cannot guarantee the complete absence of these allergens.
