Wedding Cupcakes:
Bodkin bakes offers the option of wedding cupcakes! Cupcakes start at £4 per cupcake and are iced, decorated and filled with fresh fruits, homemade creams, compotes and sauces. Prices depend on how many required and how many flavours chosen.
Wedding Favours and Centrepieces

Cake Tastings
Cake tasters are available to order in cupcake form. Cupcakes are iced, decorated and filled with fresh fruits, homemade creams, compotes and sauces.
Cake tasting options:
-Classic wedding cake taster box – 6 cupcakes, 3 classic cake flavours – £27.50
-Bespoke wedding cake taster box – 6 cupcakes, 3 bespoke cake flavours – £30.00

Cake Stands and Knife Hire
If you would like to hire one of my cake stands and/or cake knives a non-refundable charge of £15.00 per item will be payable for 3 days hire. The item(s) will need to be returned by the client within 3 working days of the event.
Hire of speciality cake stands such as the flower crown and tiered cupcake stands will have an upfront cost of £60.00 per item. 50% of this fee is refundable upon safe return.
In the case of lost and/or damaged items, a replacement charge shall be payable by the client.
Save the Dates, Deposits and Payments:
If you would like to secure your date and book Bodkin Bakes for your wedding cake I ask for a £100.00 Deposit to be paid up front. This will be deducted from your final bill and is non-refundable. This will cover future consultations about bespoke cake flavours, mood boards, bespoke cake designs and quotes. This will further secure the date in the diary for your cake. The full payment is due one month prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed.
Please note your date isn’t secure without a £100 deposit, your date is held with Bodkin Bakes for 4 days from my response.
Wedding Delivery and Assembly Service
Bodkin Bakes offers a delivery and assembly service on all classic wedding cakes. This ensures your cake will be safely delivered to your venue on the morning of your wedding. Your wedding cake will be personally delivered by me, stacked and decorated in situ.
Please note you can collect single or 2 tiered wedding cakes from store if required. If you are collecting the day before flowers will be in water test tubes my cakes will have to be kept in the fridge overnight so please bare in mind the box sizes. If you are collecting your wedding cake please ensure that you store and transport your cakes safely and as recommended. I do not take any responsibility once cakes have been collected and left the premises.

£60.00 within a 10 mile radius of BODKIN BAKES
£80.00 between 10-15 mile radius of BODKIN BAKES
£100.00+ for 15+ mile radius of BODKIN BAKES
Storage & Shelf Life
Wedding cakes can keep well for up to 5 days after the event if wrapped and kept in a fridge (if you’re lucky to have any left over!). However, there may be some elements that don’t keep as fresh such as fresh fruit and flowers. I recommend storing in an air tight container, or wrapping your cake in cling film.
Allergy Information
All of my cakes are made in a NUT FREE environment and I can guarantee that no nuts are used in my recipes or on site.
However, my cakes are made in an environment where EGGS, MILK, SOYA and GLUTEN are used. For this reason I cannot guarantee they are free from traces of these allergens. I have taken all the necessary steps to ensure cross contamination doesn’t happen.
